History
 Mahony
Title & Land Services, LLC was founded on July 1, 2002 by Kevin
Mahony and Eileen Sykes. The main office, established in
Mandeville, Louisiana, is run primarily by three business
associates: Kevin Mahony, Eileen Sykes and Sharon Warner
Cappony.
These three individuals have nearly 60 years of combined
experience and have worked together and separately in multiple
successful title companies. They have an unparalleled understanding
of the intricacies of the title business and serve as beacons
for the entire operation of the company.
With the aide and vision of its founding
parents, Mahony Title & Land Services has become the fastest growing
title company in Louisiana. Mahony Title has expanded throughout
Louisiana with offices in Mandeville, Slidell and Bossier City. We also provide National Title and closing
services.
The Mahony Team
Mahony Title Services’ Key
Management:
Kevin P. Mahony serves as the senior partner
and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Mahony has over 20 years
of sales experience in the real estate industry with a proven
history of success. Mr. Mahony was the co-owner and responsible
for the development of another very successful local title
company.
Eileen C. Sykes is the minority partner
Senior Attorney and Chief Financial Officer. She is responsible
for legal
matters of the firm and supervises a staff of three attorneys.
Ms. Sykes’ primary function is to oversee the financial
condition of the company. Additionally, she is responsible
for developing and instructing accredited courses for real
estate agents, and is a certified instructor with the Louisiana
Real Estate Commission.
Ms. Sykes had over 27 years of experience in the legal profession
and since 1987 has specialized in the field of real estate
law. She is a graduate of Loyola University with a Bachelor
of Business Administration and Juris Doctorate degrees. She
is a licensed attorney in the State of Louisiana and is a
member of the Louisiana State Bar Association.
Sharon Warner Cappony is a minority
partner and serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Notary
Public. She is responsible
for the day-to-day operation of the company and coordinating
all of the personnel in instituting uniformity of procedures
throughout the company. Ms. Cappony has over 11 years of
experience as a closing notary. Prior to entering the title
insurance industry, Ms. Cappony was a very successful real
estate agent. She has managed three other prosperous local
title companies, and previously opened and managed Mahony
Title’s Slidell office, which is one of the top offices
in eastern St. Tammany Parish.
Mahony Title & Land Services’ Office Managers:
Carla D. Bennett,
is office manager and closing notary for the Slidell location.
Ms.
Bennett
has been a Notary Public
in the State of Louisiana since 1987. With over ten years
of extensive experience in real estate title closings and
in the mortgage industry, Ms. Bennett is dedicated to giving
all Mahony Title & Land Services customers the highest quality of
service.
